With a heady opening reminiscent of tart cherry and rum, this limited-edition fragrance unfolds into a creamy heart of tuberose, grounded by rich cocoa. Myrrh and tolu balsam give a velvety warmth to the base that carries the scent further into a Gourmand direction. Abel founder Frances Shoemack was inspired by a stay in a chic Parisian apartment overlooking the famed Arc de Triomphe. She started daydreaming about the person who might live there, what they appreciate in life, how they would dress and of course — how they would smell.

Abel's The Apartment is a dark, sophisticated floral that easily convinces anyone with a sweet tooth.

Abel has reformulated its perfumes to improve their longevity and sillage, while remaining true to its 100% natural philosophy. Abel has always been completely natural and remains committed to this promise. The new formulas feature a higher overall fragrance concentration, with perfumes now ranging from 20 to 30% concentration (except Nurture, which remains safe for pregnant women).

Would you like to experience every single stage of the perfume? Then apply it directly to the skin, especially to areas with good circulation, such as the wrist or neck. The warmth of the body will slowly reveal all the nuances of the fragrance. If you find the top notes of the fragrance especially appealing, you can spritz it on your clothes or hair. Less body heat causes the molecules to diffuse more slowly and the top notes remain longer.
