VIL Miracle Lift Mascara

VIL is the water-resistant mascara by UND GRETEL: it lifts lashes right at the root, visibly lengthens them and separates them cleanly. The flexible, conical elastomer brush catches every lash individually, and the texture locks the curl in place as soon as it sets. No lash curler needed.

Water-resistant is not the same as waterproof. Classic waterproof mascaras rely on synthetic polymers that hold even while swimming, but they only come off at night with a lot of rubbing, which is hard on the lashes. VIL holds up to everyday moisture, such as high humidity or light sweating, without smudging or flaking. At night, a cleansing oil or cleansing foam is all it takes. According to UND GRETEL, this is the strongest hold achievable in certified natural cosmetics.

The hold comes from plant-based film formers made from rice bran wax and sal resin instead of the synthetic polymers used in tubing mascaras, whose little tubes come off during cleansing and go down the drain. VIL achieves a similar effect without synthetic film formers.

Organic castor oil and shea butter keep lashes supple, while vitamin E and magnolia bark extract provide antioxidant benefits. Black iron oxide gives the deep black finish. The formula is vegan, COSMOS NATURAL certified and 96.7 % of natural origin.
