Date Night by Tenth Muse is a solid perfume that blends peach, rose and patchouli to create a floral scent with an edgy twist.
The opening features peach, peony and gardenia, creating a juicy, bright and slightly cheeky scent. The scent becomes rounder in the heart. Rose and jasmine sit on a hint of vanilla, adding creaminess without sweetness. Patchouli and vetiver provide a dry, earthy foundation. The tension between the soft floral heart and tart base makes this fragrance more mature than its name suggests.
The balm is made with shea butter, jojoba oil and beeswax and is alcohol-free. It melts upon application, staying closer to the skin than a spray would. According to the manufacturer, the scent lasts six to seven hours on the skin. The refill lasts approximately three months with twice-daily application. It comes without a case but fits the Tenth Muse metal case, which is available separately in five beautiful colours.
